2018 retreat Sold Out!

Wow, this was the fastest that our Tesoro del Corazon retreat in San Miguel de Allende has sold out!! We are really looking forward to the wonderful adventures that await us during Dia de Los Muertos. If any of you who are joining us have not seen the Disney film, Coco, we highly recommend seeing it as it gives one a delightful glimpse into this cultural holiday in Mexico. It was a fantastic film all the way around.  Again, we would like to thank all of you who have entrusted us to provide an unforgettable workshop experience. October will be here before we know it and you will be receiving updates from Leslie as the months progress. Here's to the dreamer!

PS. If you would like to be added to our wait list for any 2018 cancellations or to be put on the list for next year,  please contact Leslie at tesorocorazonretreats@gmail.com

The Dreamer.....

Hi Folks.....it came to our attention that we didn't mention that registration for 2018 opened a couple of weeks ago. Leslie, our retreat coordinator, had a VERY long list of people who were interested in attending and emailed everyone on this list. At this point in time, we are happy to announce that we are on the cusp of being sold out. We so appreciate everyone's enthusiasm for our retreat and for putting your trust in us. Here's to 2018 and El Soñador.....dreams really do come true! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts from all of us at Tesoro del Corazon.....

El Soñador-The Dreamer

Yes, we do have a name for our wonderful project this year, El Soñador, The Dreamer. The inspiration for this year's project came from a pair of vintage, folkloric wooden acrobat sculptures that Lynn found in San Miguel (of course, she did!) For all who know Lynn, she is the consummate shopper (and shipper) of the most fabulous finds that Mexico has to offer!
The acrobat (some might say a clown!! NO! lol) took on a life of his own and we are encouraging all participants to put their own spin on this fabulous creation and make it their own.

Lynn said it best:
It has been brought to our attention that by only observing the photo some have interpreted it as a clown theme.
And we know that there are definitely “clown phobias”out there.😊
Please know that we encourage each student to bring their own interpretation of The Dreamer and we will help you make an art piece that is uniquely you.
I was basing my sculpture on a folkloric acrobat but i guess it morphed into a clown LOL. You DO NOT have to make a clown.
(We may play the movie “IT”during “happy hour”....just goof’n with ya)..cheers from the Tesoro Team
