Laura Mika, Helen Shafer Garcia, Lynn Leahy, Diane Uke and I (Jane LaFazio)  are meeting early next month to plan next year's retreat to San Miguel de Allende. We'll share details as soon as we know them!

It wasn't until I traveled to Mexico that I realized how much I love Mariachi music. These three gentlemen serenaded us at our farewell dinner earlier this year. And there's always a Mariachi band in the town square!

I love looking at the photos from our last retreat in San Miguel, in April 2011. Our next will be October 26-November 4, 2012, and in the same gorgeous location, same great food, and I'm guessing similar wonderful participants!

This gorgeous photo was taken by Michelle Maczka during Dia de los Muertos in San Miguel de Allende. You'll recognize the Parroquia  in the main town square. We are looking forward to our next art retreat in San Miguel October 2012 during the Dia de los Muertos festivities.

During our April 2011 Tesoro del Corazon retreat, the jardin (town square) was full of people observing Palm Sunday. 

There was also a wonderful community procession (parade) that day.

2012 dates announced!

San Miguel de Allende is preparing our our next Tesoro del Corazon art retreat! The dates are October 27-November 4, 2012. Mark your calendars! We'll announce more details as we figure them out!

We've just returned from our Tesoro del Corazon ~ Days of Art, Night of Altars retreat and it was a huge success! We're already planning our next retreat in beautiful San Miguel de Allende for November 2012. Stay tuned!
