We are very excited to invite you to our 2025 retreat in the beautiful town of San Miguel de Allende.
Our new dates for 2025 are September 27th to October 6th
For over 13 years we have held our unique and specialized retreat that brings joy, new friends, and best of all, the heart of creative energy.
Our project, The Navigator, represents the winds of change that we all feel as we enter different chapters of our lives. She/He stands majestically facing whatever the future holds with courage and determination.
Instructors Helen Shafer Garcia, Katherine England and Lynn Leahy will guide you through construction of your Navigator as you sculpt, solder and paint this
inspirational art piece.
San Miguel is a city that loves to celebrate. Come and immerse yourself in the grand tradition La Alborada, also know as Las Fiestas de San Miguel. This celebration honors the city’s patron Saint Michael the Archangel with parades, dances, fireworks, giant colorful paper stars, and music.
The blessing of the Horses also occurs during this time, bringing hundreds of riders with their horses through the cobblestone streets and into the Jardin where they are blessed at the church.
We usually present this retreat over 8 nights but in 2025 we have added another day. This one day extension for the retreat will give you more time to explore, eat, and be merry in San Miguel de Allende or perhaps a day to travel to nearby adventures.
Here are some of the important details.
You will stay 9 nights in the lovely Casa de la Noche
near the central part of historic San Miguel.
This ex-brothel is beautifully appointed and has a lot of stories to tell.
Included
Breakfast each morning.
Four workshop days on location at Casa de la Noche
giving you time to work and create. There will also be open studio time.
Lunch is provided during your 4 workshop days.
Welcoming party. Farewell dinner.
Local excursions where we will explore the culture, museums,
food, art and markets
COST IS $3400.00
This is based on double occupancy
For a single room there is an additional $700.00 (if available)
