Once again the magic of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico has lured us into its historic folds for a wonderful workshop to honor the dead ~The Day of The Dead. Come join Tesoro de Corazon as we present: Libro de Ofrendas The Offering Book. Jane LaFazio, Lynn Leahy, Laurie Mika and Helen Shafer Garcia are back with another project-focused series of workshops.
Explore the world of drawing and watercolor painting with Jane. Lynn will introduce you to reverse painting on glass. Laurie will wow you with her incredible polymer clay mosaics. In Helen's workshop you will create beautiful patterned paste papers and stitch a multi-signature
book.
This will all be combined into a fabulous altar-shaped book to take back home, your very own Libro de Ofrendas. Come join us for a week of art and exploration into the historic and cultural celebration of the Day of the Dead as only San Miguel de Allende can offer.
You will spend 9 days, 8 nights immersed in art and adventure, including 4 wonderful, creative workshops. You’ll also have plenty of time to explore San Miguel's famous craft market, art studios and participate in the Dias de los Muertos celebrations.
Evenings in San Miguel de Allende are nothing short of enchanting. You’ll spend evenings
partaking of food, music and wandering in the artful town that never seems to sleep.
Per person $1585 (double occupancy) includes 4 workshops, lodging, breakfasts, tours and some dinners. (Thirty students maximum)
